SpaceX launches four-person international crew to space station
SpaceX launched four astronauts to the International Space Station on Thursday morning from Florida.
SpaceX successfully launched a four-person international crew to the International Space Station on Thursday from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. The crew comprises two NASA astronauts, a Canadian and a Russian cosmonaut, led by commander Jessica Watkins. The mission was delayed by three weeks to repair a fuel system leak in the Dragon capsule. The crew will spend up to six months aboard the station, replacing the 12-astronaut crew already there. The spacecraft docked with the ISS in 7 hours and 55 minutes, setting a new record for the quickest US flight to the station.
